RESTAURANT REVIEW 04: SECRET OF BANGALORE

Secret of Bangalore is a cafe cum restaurant in Uttarahalli, Bangalore.
As the name suggests it is in a corner and not many people but the college students and residents around it, know about it. It is a perfect spot for  brunches or dinners.
It has a very colourful and cheerful environment with an intresting architecture.

RESTAURANT REVIEW 03: CHEF PLATED

Chef Plated is a small restaurant in the student town of Manipal.
It offers continental dishes closest to the authentic continental food found else where.
But what is so special about chef plated? Why does it stand apart from other continental restaurants?
Two things about chef plated highly fascinate me. One, their rotating menu. It's exactly what it sounds like. Their menu changes every month. And it holds a section called 'specials' where it holds the seasonal and the chef's personally chosen specials. They have a highly friendly staff and excellent service too. Another aspect of their restaurant that highly fascinated me was that their menu held no cost. The first time i went their and found no cost on their menu, I inquired about it and their manager told me that they held no cost on their menu as if they did people would order dishes based on their prizes rather than their ingredients and flavours.
Ever since I've been fascinated by this place!
If you ever drop by at Manipal, do not forget to drop by at Chef Plated.

RESTAURANT REVIEW 02: MILANO ICE CREAMS, BANGALORE

This is by far one of the best ice creams I've had in a long time. One of the most fascinating things about this chain of ice cream parlors is that they do not have simple ice-cream flavors. They do not have any flavor called 'chocolate' or 'vanilla'. And even if they have simple flavors they have a unique touch or specialty to it that helps it to stand apart.
One thing that really caught my eye was their "Spirullina" flavored ice cream. Spirullina is an algae that is consumed by humans in the form of pills or tablets or even in a powdered form as an additional protein supplement. It is considered as one of the most important future foods. So they had this blue colored ice cream that had spirullina in it. And incorporating a protein-rich algae in an ice cream is something completely out of the box!
